The catchment of Kamlang River upstream of proposed barrage site of Kamlang HEP is about 520sq. km, it is a small hydropower initiative from Brahmaputra Board.

Kamlang is a major left bank tributary of Lohit River, originating at an elevation of about 3618m, reaching an elevation of 408m at the barrage site after travelling a distance of about 46km.
The river network is dendritic in nature, with an average basin slope of about 1:25. The catchment of Kamlang River upstream of proposed barrage site of Kamlang HEP is about 520sq. km.
BPC India has been preparing detailed drawings of water supply facilities, reviewing and as a part of design process is conducting topographical survey, contour survey and GIS-based mapping.
Detail Survey and preparations of plan for Kamlang H.E. Project, the provided key services are:
