Bhopal-Nagpur being one of India’s busiest railway routes which serves both for passengers as well as goods trains has the demand for tripling to cater movement of more trains without creating congestion in existing tracks.
The proposed third line will open up opportunities to initiate more passenger and goods trains between the popular destinations of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh & Maharastra.
We have been entrusted to undergo soil exploration and testing of 5 proposed tunnels between Bhopal-Itarsi section for extracting sub-soil data as a design input of tunnels.
The tasks performed during the project work are as follows
- Staking out of bore hole locations
- Drilling of bore holes
- Field (in-situ) tests on bore hole
- Collection of samples
- Preparation of geo-logs of bore holes
- Laboratory tests on samples
- Soil testing report
