The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport will soon get a facelift as part of the new civil aviation policy. There is tremendous increase in traffic, being a hub for domestic flights to the North East. But the facilities remain the same as when it was a domestic one. A traffic study was conducted to understand the demand vis a vis the facility design and the overall traffic circulation plan.

The scopes included Survey of existing features of the airport and geotechnical investigation work for construction of foundation of the new terminal.

The entire work was completed within 1 month. This was the first work of BPC for the Airport Authority of India. Image of Guwahati airport day view and night view - site work – runway – aeroplane landing video– geotechnical site work pictures – team picture
